Yale Law School Graduate Brian Stryker Weinstein
A partner with Davis Polk since 2005, Brian Stryker Weinstein represents domestic and international clients in a range of complex litigation matters, including commercial and securities litigation and white-collar defense work. Brian Stryker Weinstein joined the firm as an associate in 1998 and has served on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee since 2008.
His accomplishments with Davis Polk include the dismissal of all claims against Morgan Stanley as an underwriter in securities litigation related to Tribune Media’s aborted merger with Sinclair Broadcast Group. Brian Stryker Weinstein also secured a partial summary judgment for Rabobank in a dispute over losses on a $1 billion collateralized debt obligation transaction.
He holds a summa cum laude bachelor of arts in English and History from Duke University and a juris doctor from Yale Law School. Actively involved with the Duke Alumni Association, he co-chaired the 25th reunion committee for the Class of 1994. He is also a member of the athletics booster association and a member of the board of directors of the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University.
